Sit-At-Home Order: IPOB Records Success In Some Parts Of Enugu


The sit at home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB ) was a success in some parts of Enugu. 
Most Business and social activities were in shutdown. Some offices was also closed for business. Also places like Ogbete market, Garriki market, Timber shade keyentta market and other parts of Enugu like Obollo Afor Nsukka area was shutdown completely. 
IPOB had ordered for the sit at home to mark the one year anniversary of the “invasion” of its leader’s home at Afar Umuahia, Abia state.
Below are some of the pictures taken in Enugu State as some parts complied with the Sit-At-Home Order issued by IPOB.












Recall that IPOB outlined reasons why they chose September 14, to call a general strike in Biafra land and beyond. According to a statement credited to their spokesman, Emma Powerful, the strike became expedient because of another Operation Dance embarked upon by the military whereas they are yet to recover from the last operation tagged Operation Python Dance 2.
