Nigerian Soldiers Flee As Boko-Haram Reportedly Recaptures Borno Community From Nigeria


Reports coming in say Gudumbali, a community in Guzamala LGA of Borno State have fallen into Boko Haram control as Nigerian Army flee from the insurgents wielding unmatched sophisticated weapons.

Recall, Nigeria first lost the town to Boko Haram about four years after a fierce battle thus forcing the residents to neighbouring towns for refuge.

According to reports, the town was again recaptured on Friday from Nigeria while some returnees from the Bakassi IDP camp in Maiduguri have reportedly escaped to nearby villages.

Our source who spoke to one of the escapees said Boko Haram fighters, in fact, told the residents to vacate the vacate the village although the Nigerian Army is yet to confirm this unfolding news story.
