Herdsmen Crisis: We Are Depending On The Igbos To Vote Buhari Out - Obasanjo

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday told the Igbos to vote out President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 general elections in their own interest.
Obasanjo, speaking at a meeting of the Coalition of Nigerian Moment in Awka, Anambra State said the Igbos would be the most beneficiary in Buhari’s ouster, advising them not to believe the promise that the Igbo would produce the President in 2023.
He described the reports as “a grand deceit and evil machination.”
Speaking through the South East convener of CNM, Dr. Okey Nwosu, the ex-president asked the people of the zone to “collectively work with the CNM towards ousting Buhari from office in the 2019 general elections.”
He said, “The meeting is a wake-up call for Nd’Igbo to dump APC and collaborate with CNM, which is the best alternative for their rescue from poverty, hunger, recklessness and ethnic cleansing in the hands of the Hausa/Fulani marauders.
“Every Nigerian leader is very much embarrassed with the state of the nation where people are attacked, killed, raped and made refuges in their own homes.
“Political leaders must advocate action against these senseless killings and seek how to design a new democratic action plan to ensure we take care of this conundrum democratically, and say, ‘Enough is enough.’
“If unchecked, these unethical activities will lead to the destruction of the country. It does not augur well for Nigeria’s development.
“The objective of CNM was mostly on how to sack Buhari from Aso Rock in 2019 and ensure that a visionarygovernment is elected.
“Nigeria’s eminent personalities, including Generals Yakubu Gowon, Ibrahim Babangida and T.Y. Danjuma have all spoken and condemned the killings and destruction in the country.
“If these people can say that the nation needs to be saved from these calamities, the South-East geo-political zone must add their voice to the clarion call.”

  1. Mr. Obasanjo should stop insulting Igbo race. He should know that Igbos are now more sophisticated than he thought. Obasanjo should tell Nigerians why he is counting on Igbos to vote out Buhari, was there a time a single Igbo man or wowan voted for Buhari or supported him even during his military regime?. Is it not the Yorubas with their usual and trade mark sabotage tendencies that put Buhari in office with intention to scheme or relegate Igbos out. Now Buhari administrationit has chocked them and instead of telling his kings men/tribe men who put Buhari in office to vote him out, he turns to Igbos who have nothing to do with Buhari and entire HAUSA/FULANI till this world comes to an end. No matter what is Obasanjo's game against Igbos again, it will not work. Igbos are not interested in 2019 elections. All the so called igbo elite or poiticians will see what will happen to them and families if they bring to project to Igbo land in 2019.

  2. Mr. Obasanjo should stop insulting Igbo race. He should know that Igbos are now more sophisticated than he ever thought. Obasanjo should tell Nigerians why he is counting on Igbos to vote Buhari out. Was there any time a single Igbo man or wowan voted for Buhari throughtout his four times of context to become president and propage his Jihad program in Nigeria as planned by Arab nations or supported him even during his military regime?. Is it not the Yorubas with their usual and trade mark sabotage tendencies that put Buhari in office with intention to scheme or relegate Igbos out. When Buhari won in 2015, Yorubas laughed at Igbos, said Igbos do not have sense. Now Buhari administration has chocked Yorubas and instead of Obasanjo telling his kings men/tribe men who put Buhari in office to vote him out, he turns to Igbos who have nothing to do with Buhari and entire HAUSA/FULANI till this world comes to an end. With the present situation in Nigeria, I do not know whether it is Yorubas that have sense or Igbos who knows Buhari well and refused to give him a sigle vote that have sense.

No matter what is Obasanjo's game against Igbos again, it will not work. Igbos are not interested in 2019 elections. All the so called Igbo elites or politicians will see what will happen to them and their families if they dare bring this project of 2019 elections to Igbo land against the wish of the youths. We are very ready to give a sever spiritual attack to any Igbo man or woman who believes he will be rich by allying with Huasa/Fulani and consequently enslaving our people and generations to come., Andy Okeke, Okorocha, Nwodo, Ngige, Five Easthern states governors, Orji Uzo etc
